The Enlighten appears to be a successor to last year's entry-level Ally. It sports a 3.2-inch, HVGA (320 x 480 pixel) resolution display and an 800MHz processor, and has a full QWERTY keyboard with large keys for typing.
The Enlighten supports Adobe Flash Player 10 as well as Verizon's mobile hotspot function. It also has a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with camcorder.
LG has installed Android 2.3 Gingerbread along with its custom user interface on the Enlighten. It will lighten wallets by $79.99, after rebate, when it launches online on September 22 and in stores on September 29.
